Cutesy in an often kinda nauseating way but enjoyed the academic STEM political stuff and representation of research. Jack was actually a bit controlling and weird for my liking - it was clear that he was supposed to be written as a feminist and instead just patronised Elsie by taking away her agency and choices about sex/her body which was just a bit cringe really. Also just felt like Elsie needed a therapist not a boyfriend so yeah...
