The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley

4.0

Gripping, a real twisty, creepy whodunnit!

I adore Lucy Foley’s graphic writing style. Unfortunately I did not love this book as much as The Guest List, however I was still hooked and couldn’t put it down! The use of descriptive language is perfect for setting the scene at a remote lodge in Scotland where a group of friends go to celebrate and see in the New Year. A murder takes place and the story explodes from there.

The early twists in the book hooked me in and allowed me to connect with the characters, my suspicions changed almost by the page!

I found this thriller exciting and creepy, it kept me guessing the whole way through, I did feel towards the end that it was becoming a bit far fetched but overall I would highly recommend.

4/5 stars.
