...You know I understand that there are a lot of things you can add and shed light on to add to a plot. However, one tidbit that the author felt was somehow necessary to mention on the first page was telling enough for me. Reading the reviews and seeing it had nothing to do with the plot, I'm glad I immediately stepped away.
