Extremely engaging and thought provoking. I loved the way the author discussed cults and cultish things while still seeing the humanity of those who fall victim to them. Being that her thesis is that we are all susceptible and have likely taken part in “cultish” behavior, it was a welcome point of view. Understating the power of language and manipulation not only opened my eyes to the cultish world around me, it will help me continue to see things and think critically about them. Overall, this is expertly written and doesn’t pull any punches!
