First off I hate how prevalent this book is today (in at least America). Maybe not the cannibalism part, but I can completely see this happening in the US because it kind of already is. The main plot reminded me a bit of an incredibly dark Lolita in a way mixed with 1984. Not once did I have sympathy for this man 😤
