Hallowe'en Party
by Agatha Christie
mysterious
medium-paced
Not my favorite Christie, but not my least favorite either. As is typical with her Poirot novels, for better or worse, it all comes together in the final reveal at the end of the story, and then the book just ends abruptly. If you’re new to Poirot, I would definitely not recommend starting with this one, as I don’t think it shows off his true genius like in other stories. But because she’s still Agatha Christie, she still got me and I guessed the wrong killer all along.
