I had been in a reading slump and this book got me right out of it. this was exactly the type of book i love. Achilles did make me angry at quite a few points and even though i knew what was gonna happen it didn't drag. the writing was captivating and the main character was so real..i felt like i would do anything for him. At the end though i was more distressed at the idea that Patroclus might never rest in peace than the fact that he died. overall,it played my emotions like a fiddle.
