Jesus Through the Eyes of Women: How the First Female Disciples Help Us Know and Love the Lord by Rebecca McLaughlin

4.0

This was a beautiful, short book about how women in the New Testament saw Jesus and how He had a high view of women. McLaughlin walks us through numerous stories of women interacting with Jesus to demonstrate how radical His view of them was in the Middle-Eastern culture they were in. Women were relied on for testimony, the woman at the well had the longest recorded conversation with Jesus, and Jesus let a bleeding woman touch His robe even though that would make Him ceremonially unclean.
