When I tell you I SPED through this book in less than a day... it was that good, y'all
Mason is a grumpy hockey player who's not looking for love. He thinks hockey fan and coach's daughter Harper is just a groupie and couldn't possibly be his type. Harper is immediately turned off my Mason's rudeness. But neither can stop thinking about the other... hmmm.
What I loved about this book is that both of these characters are dealing with some hard family drama, and once they finally learn how much they have in common... it's magic. Harper's relationship with her dad made me cry. Wow. That moment was heart wrenching. But the way Mason is ultimately there for her and the closeness they achieve is so special.
I'm a sucker for a grumpy MMC who is soft for his woman. Guys, this series is angsty in the best way!
