Awe I loved Spencer and Liz’ story. A Royal second chance romance. They had a secret love affair when they were young. But once her brother found out about it, Spencer walked away without a word leaving Liz heartbroken. Many years and a few failed relationships later she sees him again at her brother’s wedding. When Count Godfrey tried to trap her into marriage, she blurts out Spence as scapegoat. And I won’t spoil more of the plot but it’s quickly obvious that they were never over each other. I adored them.
