This just wasn't for me. If you like books that are written entirely like long internal monologues, you'll enjoy it, but this majorly missed the mark.

There was nothing in this book that helped develop any sort of chemistry between the characters or connected the reader to the characters. I didn't care what happened because I truly felt like we didn't learn anything about Max and Riley to care about.

Second-chance romances, in my opinion, are the hardest kinds of romances to write because you have to develop incredible chemistry twice, and this book just did no deliver. There was hardly any dialogue or plot and the mutual mental pining just wasn't believable.

Sad to report, as this is definitely billed as a Taylor Swift-inspired story and I was very excited to read it.
