lauraghitoi 's review for:
Homo Deus: A History of Tomorrow
by Yuval Noah Harari
Maybe I read this too late after its publishing date (8 years at the time of writing this review), maybe we got more accustomed to reading techno-humanist updates and news (apple headset anyone?) but the book left me a bit underwhelmed. I was expecting to be shocked and feel like this book expanded my world view (which maybe it would have achieved in 2016!) but it didn't. Some insights are truly fantastic and worth bringing into conversations and debates about the future - so I might go back to my sticky notes in a few years and check how they held up.
