The first third of the book was annoying and tenuous, but the mental recovery of Feyre in the second third was described very well — as well as of course the dynamic between Feyre and Rhysand!! That kept me going. I liked the unpacking of the layered plot from the first book and was pleasantly surprised by the ending. If this trend continues, I might even properly enjoy the next book.
