Claiming Grace by Susan Stoker

This book was just bad. So bad. None of the characters had believable storylines or conversations. Every conversation felt so awkward and unnatural.

Main girl made no sense. She was being emotionally abused but still had confidence/fight in her. It felt so conflicting. She understood she was being manipulated but refused to leave the situation. Which makes sense because she's been emotionally/mentally abused. But, she didn't have the broken spirit of an abused person. She was pretty much unscared. So her staying drove me crazy.

Also homeboy was.... weird. He was fine until he got into an actual relationship with the girl. Then he had all these really weird possessive thoughts about her that weren't sexy. They were red flags.

The spice was the MOST awkward spice I've ever read in my entire life.
