Tell Me What You Want by Lucia Franco

2.0

This one pains me...but I was so disappointed in this book. This was definitely one of my most anticipated reads after loving the Off Balance series and Hush Hush, but there was just so much here that didn't work for me.

Despite me liking my books spicy, this one was all sex...no depth.

The characters felt cookie cutter and stolen from Lucia's previous books with little to no changes.

They were wishy washy and unrealistic, often changing their minds. They'd say one thing and then do the opposite within seconds.

The MM and FF mentions felt so random and out of place, with the purpose I guess being to turn each other on or appease readers looking for more diversity? (That is obviously how it felt to me and not the author's views/intentions I am sure)

Noah's reactions would've had me never talking to him again, let alone forgiving him so easily. I understand her brother and her were all they had, but if I was Vanessa it would have taken me forever to forgive him for the things he said/did.

I wanted to love Vanessa and Reed's story (brother's best friend, age-gap, he just got out of prison, she is a secret cam-girl...it had so much promise!), but all I ended up doing weas skimming to the end when I probably should have DNF'd.
