Overall a very slow plot, I'm not sure how enthralled I'd be if I didn't already care about the characters so deeply. It takes a long time to pick up, and the different locations of the characters gets a bit confusing. The second half kind of threw me for a loop- it just brought in a bunch of new stuff that wasn't ever established, in a world that already felt so concrete. The ending felt a bit rushed after most of the book dragged on for so long. As usual though, her writing was great, and I'm definitely still looking forward to reading the sequel!
