Ive re read this over they ears and two things always stand out. The first is Donaldson's tendency to use words that not people do not use in normal speech. Not necessarily old fashioned speech, but more like he's trying to impress the reader with his extensive vocabulary. The second thing is how he uses all words to capture emotion. I always feel as though I've been through an emotional whirlwind when reading these books.
