Katherine Center has done it again! The more I read her books, the more she's becoming a favorite author of mine, especially with domestic / contemporary fiction. I feel like her books always leave me with an important takeaway regarding my own life.
For me, this book showed me the importance of walking away and letting go. Walking away from the things that no longer serve you, the expectations of others and the things that hurt you. Instead, it shows how to move forward, grow, find yourself and doing what you want instead of what you were told to want.
I highly recommend this one. Be prepared for some heartfelt conversations, a slow-burn, grappling with loss, and finding courage through it all.
