A bisexual Jewish woman with disordered eating habits, mommy issues and a nicotine addiction becomes obsessed with a fat Jewish woman, her confidence and her functional family, shenanigans ensue but their relationship doesn't work out /. This book was so jarring and unexpected. It felt real in a way like I knew Rachel (the main character) and though she has the personality of someone I would hate Irl, being in her head, in her mind, watching her justify her thoughts and actions. It was so surreal. I relate to her in a way I utterly despise but love also.
