This was the perfect balance of sweet, cozy, spicy, and fun. What an amazing monster romance! Ilian is a monster who has gone viral due to his amazing tattooing. His next client is the winner of a contest and they get a free tattoo from him. The moment he smells her though, he knows that he is hooked. When Ilian accidentally imprints on the woman he knows that things will never be the same. Zhuliya is stoked that she won the contest and gets to meet and be tattooed by Ilian. She's been obsessed with his art for months but she's also been masterbating to fantasies with him too. When she has an orgasmic experience during her tattoo she is not sure what to make of it. When Ilian shows up at her hotel room she is not prepared to hear what he has to say. The two head out on a journey to fix the mistake but along the way they both start to question if it really is a mistake. I really loved this story and this world. Ilian is such a cinnamon roll sweetie but he also struggles internally. He has had to tamp down his monstrous instincts in order to live in society with humans. I loved how adventurous Ilian is and that he is down to try anything especially if it interests his mate. Zhuliya is a lover of art and tattoos. She has a sweet personality but she is also very guarded. I think a lot of people will connect with her and her struggles. Ilian and Zhuliya made me want to scream at them to just tell each other how they felt. Eventually things became clear and they find their happiness. I would definitely recommend this book for someone looking for a quick monster romance that is sweet, adventurous, has really cool lore, incredibly hot and creative spice, and characters that are endearing as well as relatable.
