I’ve loved all of Alice Oseman’s books so I had high hopes for this one. I went into it expecting a cute little book about boy bands and fandoms, but ended up with a lot more than expected. I really enjoyed the intricacies of fame that it focused on and the fact that it wasn’t based on romance (which I’ve come to love and expect from Alice). I loved the way it showed the dueling POVs of both a member of the fandom, and a member of the boy band, showing the impact news and theories have on them because it’s not something people think about often. I also really loved the way anxiety and mental illness/struggle was shown in this novel. It was very realistic and touching. There were parts where I wished it moved a little faster because I got bored, and I with the relationship between Angel and Juliet had a bit more depth at the end, however overall, great book
