damn ts pmo frl. AUDREY ROSE WADSWORTH FUCK U. wow this acc got me riled up thomas deserves so much better she had no right to be upset when he left her and thomas should have turned away and never returned. this love triangle felt forced and totally unnecessary as a futile attempt at angst but it felt unnatural snd annoying. their relationship had developed so deeply in the past two books that it felt so disappointing when she betrayed him like that, knowing that what she was going to do would hurt the love of her life like that.
and then SHE STILL KISSED MEPHISTO!!!
pissed. i didnt like this book nearly as much as its predecessors, both writing, plot and character wise. audrey rose has never been my favourite character, feeling a bit forcibly 3 dimensional and boring, to be honest same with thomas but love him. it felt specifically and especially so in this book particularly that Maniscalco is forcing depth to characters, telling instead of showing which is why this book just wasnt up to it for me. hopefully the finale of the series will save it 🤞
