The ABC's of Consent by Krystaelynne Sanders Diggs

4.0

A great introduction to young children to open the conversation of consent.

This book provides a sweet rhythmic tone to each sentence along with colourful graphics of young people. I am glad to see of the diversity of skin tones displayed within the book and wish we could've had some disability representation also, to help centre everyone in conversations of consent and inclusion.

I appreciated the different themes within the book and the ways the discussions are opened, however T is for Touch was a little more confusing than I felt it needed to be.

Overall, a welcome introduction to the topic for young people.
