Another extremely important book that everyone needs to read. Not only does she highlight the need for comprehensive sex ed, but also communication skills, empathy, respect for self and others, social awareness, and appreciation of the diversity of sexual expression and orientation. I especially like how she doesn't just stop with consent. Consent should just be the bare minimum (and she make it a point to detail that consent should be explicit, enthusiastic, ongoing, and able to be withdrawn at any time). Making sure sex is both ethical and good are also important and building emotionally healthy relationships built on foundations of mutual respect and trust is more important than getting rid of the "v-card".
