the plot twist!!! had an inkling but i was still pleasantly surprised, and tbh im glad cause i wasn't really feeling the whole syndicate thing in the last book and if that happened in this as well i would've completely lost interest in that storyline.
also the grumpy x sunshine trope was done so so well here. i feel like the way zephyr pursued alpha at first could have easily come off as pushy but because of good writing and how well it was written, it didnt. i loved and enjoyed alpha's character so much, but zephyr....oh zephyr my lovable and good and amazing little ray of sunshine
