"Will you let me know you?"

Summary

When she and her best friend go to a concert for the new up-and-coming pop group Midnight in Dallas, sparks fly between Liv and the front man during a backstage meet and greet. Can Liv open her heart to someone new after being so badly hurt by her ex?

Why did I pick up this book?
I received an advanced copy of Book #3 in the series and wanted to start at the beginning.

What did I enjoy about it?
There were some comedic notes throughout, as is to be expected with a band of four dudes in their mid-twenties. I always have to give a shoutout to multiple perspectives, so props there. I also thought the concept was cute, small business owner falls for a celebrity. I didn't LOVE this book but will continue with the series despite.

What did I not enjoy about it?
Sadly, a lot. It rushed and dragged in all the wrong places, and most of the book felt it was on fast-forward. It felt unrealistic how fast they fell for each other with how much emotional damage they were both carrying. lastly, I read over 25 Romance novels this year alone, and this one felt the closest to a corny Hallmark movie, which I do not like.
