The Siege of Macindaw by John Flanagan
2.0

Listened to the audio book version. This book has many of the strengths and weaknesses of it predecessors. For instance, the author likes to show every single thing from at least 3 points of view, which gets old very quickly. And the strategies and methods are often over explained. Top that with a whole bunch of cliche's and bad/nonexistent research. It also has some (mostly) interesting characters. I feel like if the book had been reduced in size by 1/2 it would have been much stronger.
