Happy-Go-Lucky
by David Sedaris
Probably more like a 2.5 for me. Obviously life is not all “haha” funny, and I certainly don’t expect Sedaris to only write about moments like that, but it felt like this book was lacking the heart that makes the harder stories (or more cutting jokes) enjoyable to read. It felt less relatable and has left me kind of sad? Which is a new emotion for me to take on after reading Sedaris.
