As usual, these are just fun nostalgia for me, although I'm not sure I ever read much into the little sister series so I don't remember this one.
For this one I thought the way Pamela was being a snobby little shit and the other girls just said that was the "real" her and wrote her off as a bad person was a pretty shallow way of handling it. There are definitely other parts of the BSC series where the girls can be quite cliquey and judgemental to those outside their friend group too. I like the message of the strength of friendship but I'm not a fan of encouraging kids to other those outside their cliques / friend groups.
