The Summer of Lost Letters by Hannah Reynolds
1.0
It’s so bad, I wanna give you a zero. But that’s not possible. So I give you…a one.
I barely got halfway through this book and I couldn’t read it anymore. I liked the plot, but the writing was just so immature and confusing. The writing seems to be meant for 12 year olds but some of the words are meant for 16 year olds. Some of the thoughts Abby had and was sharing them to the reader were just repeats of what we already know about how she feels. About Noah, her grandmother, etc., we already know how she feels so she doesn’t have to repeat it, but she does. It got super annoying and I couldn’t get through chapter 16.
