I updated my rating from 3-4 stars because the second book in this series is amazing and I don’t think I would have liked it as much if I wouldn’t have trudged through this book. This book takes a long time setting up the characters and story and at times it can be hard to keep reading but I am glad I did. I love the different POV’s between the witches and at times you don’t know who to root for. But it sets up the second book perfectly.
