This is one of those rare times I give a book five stars. It has a little bit of everything. First and foremost, the author writes from both Wendy and Janet's point of view and does a remarkable job distinguishing between the two. Wendy has the most acerbic, yet charming sense of humor and while Kaplan was writing from her point of view, I was laughing out loud and highlighting parts on my Kindle that were too funny not to save. When the author is writing from Janet's point of view, the book is more serious with a very introspective feel. This is a romantic comedy, workplace and age-gap romance. It also has a few steamy scenes that are unique and Gal Godot even makes a guest appearance. I was captivated the entire way. I saw the ending coming by the time I was 60% in, but I didn't care. The execution was excellent and it was very unique. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
