Wow - what a rollercoaster ride! A wonderfully inventive story that really runs the gamut of emotions.
James Fouhey's narration is excellent.
To echo what some other reviewers have said, this isn't YA just because the characters are 17. It's an epic story of love and survival and hope that goes way beyond an age label. I'm not big on YA and might have missed out on a fantastic listen had I not read reviews and recommendations here, so don't miss out just because you think this is a "kids' book". It's not.
And now I have a book hangover...
