I've been wanting to read this for a while and was inspired by May 4th to finally pick it up. It's a brilliant coming of age story for everyone's favorite space princess, but it's also just filled to the brim with Easter eggs (Lothal!), Alderaanian lore (braids!), and a healthy dose of a very spacey, young Amilyn Holdo. In the book Leia is sixteen and is on the verge of her investiture as heir to the Alderaanian throne, but she's also on the fringes of the rebellion, learning how to be a good leader, who to trust, and how to love in a galaxy that's going to be very different as she grows up. Claudia Grey is one of the best Star Wars authors out there!
