The Light We Lost by Jill Santopolo

This book was so infuriating. I’m giving it five stars because I felt it was an easy read as far as being able to visualize every thing. It felt like I pushed pause on a movie every time I walked away from it to live my real life.

But the main character really upset me. Mostly because she kept so many secrets and never fully communicated with anyone. There are so many people out there that do this and it frustrates me from an outsider’s perspective. If she would just act on her emotions and have conversations and express what she wants, her life could have been so different. If she would have been able to let go of her past to fully experience her present, her life could’ve been so different.
