Us Against You by Fredrik Backman

5.0

I had no intention of finishing this tonight.
But I couldn’t stop myself.
Like the first book, this takes a bit for the wheels to start churning. But luckily I had become invested in the characters from the first book, [b: Beartown|33413128|Beartown (Beartown, #1)|Fredrik Backman|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1482108618s/33413128.jpg|54171514], that I didn’t mind. I was just happy to be reading about them again.
This book focuses more on the community as a whole, versus one situation.
Like with Beartown, I can’t quite articulate in an intelligent way all of the complexities of the story, all of the themes it touches upon, and also the humanity of each character.
But what I can say is, it is hands down one of the best sequels I’ve ever read.
