I’ve been waiting for this book since 2021 and honestly I’m a little conflicted by but I think it’s good. The relationship between Emma and Samuel it’s very inspiring and in I think my only problem with this book was *spoiler* how Samuel at the end of the book is recovered from his alcoholism almost like miraculously when in real life it doesn’t happen that way and just bc they were having a baby. I would have love for a longer book but in general, I think it’s great. We don’t expect much from Cora from her last books, but it was a nice reading.
Lately her Mafia books have been lacking the mafia part so it would be nice if she makes her books a little more dark or mafia focus in future stories
