I've loved the series thus far, but this book was way too slow for my taste. Too much filler description, too little plot development. I loved the emotional journeys of Poppy, Casteel and Kieran, the dynamics between them made my heart squeeze and had me laughing at their banter. But it took more than half the book to fully get there. 
I loved Reaver and tying the ASITE story into this one, but it felt like there could have been so much more. Feels like there's so little plot for such a long wait, and now we have to wait again ...
