This book is a mix of sci fi, dystopia and thriller after an alien invasion that forces humanity to live in Antarctica. Its about the survival of humans in an environment that we are not adapted to live in. It's also about the scientific and ethical lengths we will go to for our survival. Whilst I enjoyed the writing style and plot line, I did find some elements a little basic and unexplored. It ends in a way that leaves it open to a sequel which I would definitely read.
