Zayne returns as a fallen Angel but the fall has changed him and he no longer seems to feel love, or empathy. Trinity finds out that if she stabs him with the sword of Michael he should return to normal but she must have faith that it will work. Once she lures him with a spell from the crone she stabs him with the sword of Michael and luckily Zayne is once again Zayne. After Zayne returns their problems are far from over they must prepare for their battle with the Harbinger. Roth and Layla are off to find Lucifer to ask him to join the fight when they return with him demons, Lucifer, wardens must work with Zane and Trinity to stop Gabriel.

This book was a good wrap-up and I still love Zayne and Trinity together but there was a lot going on and because of that I felt that some things were unresolved. I was so happy that even though Zayne was different after he fell he still felt a connection with Trinity. The lack of Roth and Layla was also a bit disappointing but I was happy to see everything worked out in the end. Zayne and Trinity being immortal and bonded together at the end was a good ending.
