Love Is for Losers by Wibke Brueggemann
4.25
I really liked this book. I liked the format. The days go by even though there is journal entries for everyday. Reading this book was a breeze and I felt like I was gliding through the words.
Phoebe is such a wonderful character to be in the head of. She is funny and smart. She is also very attuned to her emotions. Miss thing made me teary eyed many times. I cried in the bus twice and had to stop to not embarrass myself. Blech!
There is absolutely no censorship in his book and sex is talked about so openly that it feels weird in my prudish brain. Still, this book manages to be wholesome and sweet. I felt the humor and I felt the loss. I felt the annoyance and I felt the hurt. I really liked this book. I suppose I love this book actually.
