Picked this book up after seeing it all over the place. Christie Tate’s account of her experience in group therapy is beautifully written and incredibly vulnerable. Yet, I hesitate to recommend this book to others both for content that might be triggering and some unethical therapy practices around patient confidentiality. Ultimately, this book left me with a desire to have a circle of friends like those Tate made in group therapy—people that love you and advocate for you, flaws and all.
