It took me a year to get through this book, it's very convoluted but oh my lord so very enjoyable. Every line and every narrative is so well thought out and intricate, Martin truly thought of every storyline in full and wove so much foreshadowing into each character. It is truly a strong book in itself and a real testament to the fantasy genre. Sarah J mass wishes she could write like this. Brans fucking boring though as are some of Jons chapters. I will forewarn though that the book is extremely graphic, could one argue a bit too much, one could but I ain't gonna, there's a lot of explicit and deranged things that happen and they are often said rather flippantly, often having no real impact on the plot just being used as a way to show who's bad (all of them really?). Overall it is a very good book I would just only read it if you are a well versed reader and likely already a fan of the series. Yipeeeeeeeee
