Somebody's Wife by Robbi Renee
5.0
Robbi Renee is a new to me author. I’ve had this book on my list for a while and I am mad at myself for not getting to this quicker. The way I loved this story.
Jules and her friend group were hilarious. But Jules definitely needed to get back to herself after living on and doing for everyone else. I loved the therapy session and relating to Nikki Giovanni’s Woman poem. She held in as long as she could but that good doc had to make that house call.
Dr. Ezekiel Green… whee this man screamed BDE with sophistication. I loved who he embodied. And the way he embodied the friend at the thanksgiving get together.. priceless.
I loved them together in spite of how things started. But I did love how they talked and got to know one another even though her situation was murky. He did give some respect for it.
Quinton knew he was dead wrong and the fact he kept delaying the inevitable. Sheesh.
I can’t wait to read the next installment. I loved this and Robbi’s writing.
