Holy Crap on a Cracker! I absolutely loved this book. I have been reading a lot of fantasy lately, and I needed a good sexy/steamy romance book. This was just right.
Our main characters are:
Greer: good hearted, submissive, naive, trusting, resilient
Ash: President, ex military, dominant
Embry: Vice President, ex military, loyal
👑The plot is told with a nonlinear timeline so we see the present, 5 and 10 years into the past.
💔There are a few characters I couldn't stand, but Greer's cousin, Abilene, was the freaking worst.
🗡There are lots of references to Camelot, but those kind of went over my heard bc I never read King Arthur.
💥Unfortunately, American Queen ends on a cliffhanger. Thank God I have the second and third book waiting on my Kindle.
