Thank you to Harlequin Teen for providing the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Beth's got a seriously complicated life. Between her overly protective parents, the house that serves as a memorium to her dead sister, and the school that still lives to serve the memory of that sister - it's hard for Beth to move forward. It has been years since the car accident that took Rachel's life happened, but the rage and pain it encited in everyone around her hasn't seemed to have dimmed.

Things go from hard to impossible though when Beth decides to go to a party alone and meets Chase - a sexy boy who captures her heart. They end up together that night and she gives up her virginity to him (not that he knows that). When she finds out the next day he's the guy who ran over her sister all those years ago, the high school drama starts and Beth wants out.

Erin Watt is masterful at creating stories that encapture the pain of reality and the truth of the situation. In this book, she strikes gold again as she takes the seemingly bad guy Chase and turns him into a person with good again. Chase may have been the guy who ran over Rachel, but is he really the one who killed her? The question is asked and answered in a way that humanizes everyone and provides forgiveness where none was possible before.
