I do love how interesting and magical this series is, it was cool to see Rachel’s perspective this time. This book humanised the fallout from the invasion, focusing just on Melissa’s family and how it affects those not aware. Again, all the action is packed into the very end of the book, but I was entertained throughout. Rachel as the shrew was cool.
I do wonder though, since Tobias is now stuck as a hawk, what do his parents think? Is he presumed missing, dead? Like what’s the deal with that?
