Beautiful Nightmare by Giana Darling
4.0

Beautiful Nightmare is the final book in the Dark Dream duet. After an exciting cliffhanger in [b:Dangerous Temptation|58504358|Dangerous Temptation (Dark Dream Duet, #1)|Giana Darling|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1629483183l/58504358._SY75_.jpg|91884867], I've been waiting eagerly to find out Biana and Tiernan's fate. Told in dual points of view, It's full of secrets, surprises, and a formidable change of plans.

Tiernan is a deadly weapon used by his ruthless and evil father who turned Tiernan against his brothers and sisters. But Tiernan has reached his limit after his father revealed his secret to his ward and she has fled to the enemy. After months of cruelty and contempt for the young woman he planned to use as his pawn for revenge, he will stop at nothing to get her back and keep her safe. His plans have changed. His heart has won.

Bianca has been betrayed and lied to for the last time. She plans to take things into her own hands despite the danger. Secrets will be revealed and revenge will be exacted. Can she forgive the emotionally broken and vengeful man who saw her as an instrument of spite?

Their roles have reversed. Tiernan is growing a conscience and Bianca is growing a backbone. I love that Tiernan has finally acknowledged that his father is the real enemy and to his surprise and wish granted, his brothers are willing to help Tiernan take their father down. His reunion with his brothers is violent, but healing as they form the bond that has been missing for so long. There is also another surprising reunion for Tiernan that will add to the love and acceptance he needs so badly in his life.  Bianca shows her strength and moxy as she fools the cunning matriarch of the Constantine family to bring her down. It's a bittersweet unveiling when Bianca finds out the level of love her father had for her and Brando, her little brother, despite their illegitimacy and coming second to her father's powerful other family.

As for the revenge on both Tiernan's nasty father and Caroline Constantine, Bianca's father's manipulative and vile widow, it was a satisfying ending to the heartache and destruction they both caused.

Most of all, it's family that prevails. Finally, surrounded by love and support, Tiernan, Bianca, and Brando have the happily-ever-after they all deserved.

Again, I adore Tiernan's misfit group of Gentleman who are more than colleagues, but also his family. His brothers are a refreshing addition to the book as they step up and be the family Tiernan always wanted. As always, Bianca's sweet little brother, Brando steals the show with his honest questions and unconditional love for his extended family of dark heroes.

I'm delighted with the satisfactory ending to an intriguing dark romance full of drama, revenge and most importantly, family.
