I have always been intrigues with Kit whenever he popped up in the earlier books and I desperately wanted him to get his HEA.

What I loved....
1. The Characters...
P.S. Excuse the Inspo pics not wearing historical cloths!
Christopher Redford, aka kit, has been a rent boy for years. One night he meets Henry and he catches "feelings". He is Henry's kept boy for many months, and just when he feels that his feelings are getting stronger and stronger, no matter how stupid it is, Henry up and leaves him, without even a goodbye.
Fast foreword 18 years...Henry is back and he brings with him a whole barrage of feelings, apologies and inadvertent secrets. #BetterLateThanNever
Henry Asquith, the Duke of Avesbury, was forced to leave his kept boy kit in a blink of an eye. his family had to come first, but not a day went by that he didn't think about kit and regret the way he left things. 18 years later, a common acquaintance leads him back to kit. he discovers how him leaving affected kit and is desperate to fix what he had done. #MakeAmends
2. The Plot...
In addition to Henry and Kit getting back together, a couple of subplots go hand in hand with their reunion. These subplots go hand in hand with bringing them together, small the role as it may be. This helps the story and the characters be more fleshed out. #EveryLittleThingMatters
3. The Romance...
What starts as making amends, shifts to something more. each time they meet with each other, Henry and Kit discover that their feelings never really went away. despite both of them hiding them from each other 18 years prior. Their love for each other blooms anew and they are both ready to sacrifice and make changes so they could be together once more. #MyLoveNeverWaivered
4. The Heat...
This is not super steamy, but the scenes are definitely hot and they are placed in important instances in the book. Each scene for me was put for a reason, to further develop the relationship, and not just the physical aspect. Henry discovers new things about himself sexually, and Kit is the only one he trusts to do them with. #TrustGoesALongWay
5. The HEA...
It maybe 18 years too late... but is was worth the wait... and that tiny clue as to who the new book will be about.... #IWouldHaveWaitedALifetime #SoExcited

Both MCs being in their forties! And not Instagram-beautiful.
