5 stars! A beautiful meditation on youth and queerness, brimming with confusion, angst, and happiness. Two Bengali girls with different religious and cultural backgrounds, often grouped together by their peers in their Dublin school, come together for a fake-dating scheme. Sunshine Hani and grumpy Ishu end up becoming close along the way, and perhaps something more.

Beyond a romance trope, the two MCs discover what it means to be a part of their families, their own wants and desires, and where their loyalties lie.

Jaigirdar brought these characters effortlessly to life, and I am delighted to have known Hani and Ishu. A beautiful queer love story in which queerness is only one part of a beautiful growth arc.
